Preparations for Day Without Shoes

One Day Without Shoes is not too far from us, ok maybe four months is awhile away, but I am hard at work planning the next Aggie Day WIthout Shoes. I have so many great things planned for this year. I can't wait to share all of my ideas with all of you! Be sure to check back every so often to see when the event will begin and when the T-shirt sales will begin. Thank you all for your support!

Orders can be dropped off at AHS Main Office or Freshman Academy Office. Please put name, phone number or email, shirt size and cash in an envelope. Thank you for supporting my cause!

My Mission

Mrs.Todd's sixth period Multimedia Team class, from Albertville High School, is sponsoring a child from Ethiopia, through World Vision. The little girl's name is Bereket, she is six years old, and like most kids over there Bereket and her family don't have very much. Like most kids in Ethiopia, Bereket lives with her parents, she has one brother and two sisters. Her parents struggle to provide things for their family. I have made it my mission to get TOMS involved to help me give this little girl and her family shoes. You can help to, by getting involved. Share the TOMS story, tell people about it, tweet about it, or share it on Facebook. Upload your TOMs pictures to Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, and to the TOMS Facebook page. Then register for One day without without Shoes, by doing these three things you are telling others about the TOMS movement. For every pair of shoes you purchase TOMS gives a pair to a child in need. One for One.

My mission to help Bereket has led me home, I am helping the children of Albertville. TOMS has inspired me to do more and I am challenging you to help me. On April 16th in conjunction with TOMS 'Day Without Shoes' the students, faculty and staff at AHS will go without shoes for a few hours during the school day. There are children in Albertville who go without shoes everyday and you can help me buy them shoes. I am selling T-shirts to wear on April 16th and the proceeds will buy shoes for Albertville children.
